Signing in and accounts

My browser does not return to Conserio after signing in. In Conserio, choose Sign in with a code and enter the code on the page that opens. See Getting started.

Conserio says “No binadit Workspace found”. Check the e-mail address. If it is right, your company does not use Workspace with that domain yet.

Conserio says “Conserio is not enabled”. Your company uses Workspace, but Conserio is not switched on yet. Ask your administrator.

A company logo in the account bar is faded. Conserio is not connected to that company. Point at the logo:

• Offline or Connecting: Conserio tries again by itself. Check your network. What you send in the meantime goes out once the connection is back. A line at the top of the conversation also says you are offline.
• Signed out: your session ended or your administrator signed you out. At the top of that company it says Your session at … has ended with the button Sign in again. It opens the sign-in in your browser for that account; afterwards the account is connected again, with your messages, sections and drafts. You do not need to sign it out first.

How do I change my name? Your name comes from the Workspace portal. Ask your administrator.

Notifications

I get no notifications. Check Preferences, tab Notifications, for the company:

• Is Notifications on?
• Is Do not disturb off?
• Is it within your working hours, if you use Only during working hours?
• Are you in an appointment while Status from my calendar is on?
• Is the conversation set to Nothing or muted? Check the bell at the top right of the conversation.

Also check that your computer allows notifications from binadit Conserio: on macOS in System Settings, Notifications; on Windows in Settings, System, Notifications.

My phone stays quiet while I am at my computer. That is intended. Your phone only gets a notification when you have not been active on any computer for the last two minutes.

A reminder on a saved message did not notify me. The notification comes from Conserio on your computer, not from the server. If Conserio was closed at that moment, it comes as soon as you open Conserio. Also check whether Do not disturb is on or notifications for that company are off. In Saved the message shows Reminder now either way.

Channels and messages

I cannot write in a channel. The channel is archived. A channel manager or administrator can Bring back the channel.

I cannot leave #algemeen. Right: everyone in the company is in #algemeen.

I cannot find a channel.

• You only see a private channel when you are a member. Ask a member to add you.
• If you hid it, open it with Cmd+K or Ctrl+K.
• If you left a public channel, find it under Browse channels.

A scheduled message was not sent on time. Conserio sends scheduled messages from your computer. If Conserio was not running, the message goes out as soon as you open Conserio again.

Search does not find an old message. Conserio searches the messages stored on your computer. Scroll back in the conversation to fetch older messages, then search again.

A conversation starts with “Older messages were deleted under your company’s retention period”. Your company keeps messages for 6, 12, 24 or 36 months. Anything older has been deleted for good and does not come back. Your administrator chooses the period in the binadit portal.

A link to a message opens nothing in my browser. A message link works in Conserio: paste it in a conversation and click it.

The call card still has Join, but the call is over. Conserio does not yet know when a call in Meet ends. The card says who started it and when, and keeps Join until Meet reports the end.

Files

The paperclip only shows an explanation. Your company does not have Team Drive yet. See Files.

A file card says “Removed by Drive”. The file came from outside your company and its retention period has passed.

The app

I closed the window, but Conserio is still running. That is intended, so you keep getting notifications. Quit Conserio from the icon in the menu bar or system tray, with Quit.

Conserio does not open by itself when I start my computer. In Preferences, switch on Open Conserio when you log in.
